Arizona Silver Exploration Inc Hits High Grade Gold and Silver Mineralization in the Perry Vein on its Philadelphia Project
The weighted average intersection of six of the holes reported on the main zone was 4.57 meters grading 8.06 g / t gold and 32.54 g / t silver
Arizona Silver Exploration Inc () (OTCMKTS: AZASF) announced that it has discovered a new high-grade gold-silver vein in a thick mineralized zone on the Perry Vein on its Philadelphia property in Arizona.
The company said drilling intersected “thick” areas of gold-silver mineralization in all 15 holes drilled on the property.
Main vein highlights include intersections of 3.05 meters at 16.9 grams per tonne (g / t) gold and 51.2 g / t silver within 45.73 meters at 1, 63 g / t gold and 7.74 g / t silver and 9.15 meters at 7.82 g / t gold and 21 g / t silver within a radius of 15.24 meters at 1 , 82 g / t gold and 5.52 g / t silver.

The weighted average intersection of six of the holes reported on the high grade vein was 4.57 meters grading 8.06 g / t gold and 32.54 g / t silver.
“We are delighted that drilling has found high grades in a vein that has been historically overlooked,” CEO Mike Stark said in a statement.
“Significantly, the high grade zone is open at depth. The shallow, low grade mineralization is a surprise, a result that represents potentially large bulk tonnages. Drilling will continue.
Greg Hahn, the company’s vice president of exploration, told investors the results confirmed the interpretation that the high grades would start 50 to 100 meters below the low grade, partially flush with the Perry vein.
“Fortunately for us, the productive part of the vein appears to be completely intact and is open at depth,” Hahn said.
“The thick, shallow zone of low grade mineralization is very important as it represents a bulk tonnage opportunity. For this reason, we separately report vein grades and shallow bulk tonnage grades. “
Drill holes in the shallow end of the vein intersected large areas of stockwork gold mineralization, the company said, because the high-grade vein component is “absent.”
Arizona Silver stated that the weighted average of the lower grade intersections in the up-dip portions of the mineralized zone is 39 meters at 0.38 g / t gold and 1.68 g / t silver, which does not include any high grade vein intersection.
Based in Vancouver, Arizona Silver’s flagship Philadelphia property is located in Mohave County, Arizona.
