Dolly Varden Silver reinforces the technical team with Andrew Hamilton, P.Geo.
VANCOUVER, BC, November 9, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Dolly Varden Silver Corporation (“Dolly varden“or the”Society“) (TSXV: DV) (OTC: DOLLF), is pleased to announce that Andrew Hamilton, P.Geo. joined the Company as a senior geologist.
Mr. Hamilton is an exploration geologist with over 30 years of experience in mineral exploration, primarily in British Columbia, Nunavut, the Yukon and Mexico, with an emphasis on gold and copper-gold projects. He brings additional field and advanced mineral exploration experience to Dolly Varden, with an emphasis on drilling program design and management, mineral resource modeling and estimation, QAQC and Data managment.
Andrew has been on technical teams of several successful explorers who have gone from exploration to production as well as the sale of businesses, including Wheaton River Minerals’ Gold Bear Mine, Cumberland Resources’ Meadowbank Project and IDM Mining’s Red Mountain Project. Most recently, he was the exploration director for White Gold Corp. for their Yukon projects.
As an Independent Qualified Person, he has co-authored numerous NI 43-101 resource reports and estimates, as well as audits and reviews of corporate mineral resource and reserve production and QA / QC. Mr. Hamilton has been praised in the mining industry for his careful and balanced approach.
