Raiders News: Offensive line excelling in running game
The Las Vegas Raiders offensive line has been the most questioned aspect of the team and it’s a work in progress as they have used 11 different offensive lineups in the first six games.
Still, the unit improved and performed very well in the racing game. Las Vegas tailback Josh Jacobs was excellent as he became the first Raider player to rush for 140+ yards in three straight games. He is third in the NFL with 633 rushing yards.
But make no mistake, Jacobs is blocking hard. According to the Football Outsiders, the Raiders lead the league in adjusted yards per carry at 5.7 yards. It’s quite special.
The offensive line no one talks about:
At this moment the #Raiders lead the NFL with 5.70 adjusted yards per carry. No other offense is higher than 5.1!
Raiders RB have only been pissed for a loss or no win 11% of the time, second only to GB.

As the Raiders continue to try to get back into the AFC playoff picture, Jacobs and his blocking will be a big part of the formula.
